Account Manager

Hello and welcome to Breakthrough Recruitment Ltd, the first Specialist Retail Recruitment Company in Northern Ireland; founded in July 2008 by Bernadette Hendron who has over 20 years' experience in HR and the Retail Industry. We cover the whole of Ireland, the UK and also work internationally.

We believe that consistency and communication are key to us delivering the very best candidates for your business. Therefore we will assign a specialist consultant with an in-depth knowledge of your industry sector. They would acquire all that was necessary by way of information about your business and the job requirements and would subsequently represent and promote your business in order to find you the best people.

Selection Process

We ensure that all potential candidates are thoroughly screened and interviewed before short listing. We also have a database of over 5000+ quality candidates from Ireland, the UK and international backgrounds. We currently advertise on many of the well-known tried and tested Job Boards as well as making full use of Social Media and associated methods; for more specific roles we would consider all avenues like press advertisement, networking or using a more specific method in order to attract the right sort of candidates for the job.

Our Process

Once we have listened and identified your needs we then:

  • Initially search our exclusive database
  • Advertise on various job boards and search the associated databases
  • Identify the key individuals for the role and conduct relevant telephone/face to face interviews accordingly
  • Submit shortlist for consideration not exceeding 10 candidates but providing a selection of individuals, all of whom are capable of doing the job; leaving it up to the employer whose personality would prove to be the best fit.
  • Arrange all relevant interviews and fully prepare and coach potential candidates on how to perform and what will be expected of them.
  • Make official offer, negotiate and confirm start date.
  • Take up reference checks on request.
Although Breakthrough Recruitment is currently sitting at a 98% success rate in terms of candidates remaining in their jobs after their first three months, we are aware that there can be exceptions so we cover this eventuality in our Terms of Business which we would be very happy to discuss with you in more detail. Breakthrough Recruitment is all about sustaining and maintaining solid and long lasting relationships with our clients; it is never about providing a quick fix, we believe that by providing an efficient, cost effective and reliable service we will continue to build and establish new and long term partners alike.
